Planning process

A planning application has been submitted to Norfolk County Council.

A planning application (Ref No. C/3/2010/3004) has recently been submitted by MEIF Renewable Energy Holdings Limited to Norfolk County Council (NCC) for the proposed renewable energy plant north of Thetford, off the A134. This was accompanied by an Environmental Statement that evaluates any potentially significant impacts on the environment arising from the proposal, and a project level Habitats Regulations Assessment, which assesses the potential impact on the Breckland Special Protection Area.
